Oh my!!! It is so exciting! I have watched the "Holiday's of God" series that RBC put out. It is amazing and stirring to know that God has given these prophetic holy-days to show us how He has/is/and will yet move on the earth! I only wish I understood it more fully...so that I could share it with others!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Christ-Messiah IS the Peace of Jerusalem!)

Thanks Holy Spirit for allowing Mart to begin to see the beauty and messianic meaning God has programmed into His set apart times.

Notice that in Scripture, these are days that God has put on His "day planner" for ALL those who follow the God of Israel.

Sadly,we have been taught that these are the Jewish Holidays alone. Those things are for them and since Jesus came we are new creations and don't have to observe those things, even though Jesus and the twelve did.The temple destruction could not destroy the hidden beauty of these appointed times.

We will be observing them in the new millenium,so wouldn't it be prudent to know something about them beforehand?

God has only ONE people,ONE Word,ONE seed, etc.Somewhere along the line someone decided that the Old Testament was for them(Jews only) and this New Testament is for us.The fact is,we owe everything to the Jewish people, who seem to be the only ones who have kept/guarded the LORD's Scriptures and His day planner among other things.

The adversary has from the beginning distorted the Truth.
"Did God really say,'You are not to eat from any tree in the garden'?"

When and who decided that the children don't have to show up when the Father says to show up? Does the Father like having His day planner thrown out?Hmm.

I married into a Jewish family, in that my husband's Mother was Jewish (deceased) and his Father was Catholic (also deceased, both died before I met my husband, both sadly died at young ages). My husband and his two siblings (brother and sister) were raised Catholic but celebrated the Jewish Holidays as well. Once we married, we began regular church attendance, got Saved, and I became fascinated with the fact that a descendant of Abraham was MY Husband!! I began studying the Jewish Roots of our faith first, my husband joining me later on. Last night (4/19/08), we celebrated the First Seder, as it is known, with the Jewish side of my husband's family (they are NOT Messianic)!! Our hearts really break that they do not see their own Messiah!! Studying the Jewish Holidays is fascinating and I so highly recommend it...clearly, our Savior, Yeshua, was not born on Dec. 25th; I don't mind "observing" the day as a commemoration of his birth but it is more likely that he was born in the "Fall"...in any event, I encourage all True Believers to study the "Jewish Roots of our Faith"!! And pray for Israel!! We owe a HUGE debt of Gratitude to the Faithful Jewish Believers in G-d, who have suffered much for THEIR beliefs, for us to have what we have in our Savior...the King of Kings, Lord of Lords!!

Will all of Israel be saved or is that part of a false two-house theology?? Will there really be a pre-tribulation rapture or is he/she who endures to the end to be saved,as Jesus taught?? Just who are God's people?? I'd like to hear what other people have to say about this!

Praise God for pointing that out! Some years ago, when it was hotly debated about the idea that the year 2000 corresponded with the end of the sixth day of creation and that God was set to renew the world, I began researching this idea on my own. Here is what I came up with: If God rested on the seventh day, why were so many people counting on him to do his greatest work at a time which by the same logic would have corresponded with the seventh day? I then thought of the idea that according to the tradition of circumcision, a sanctifying of people to God occurs on the eighth day after birth and thought maybe there was more time before this great work would occur.

My investigations into this matter led me to believe that the three remaining holidays may have corresponded to Jesus' birth and ministry on earth. I guess because the timing of the Christmas holiday was said to be set at a time when shepherds would not have been in the fields with their flocks because the conditions would not have been right for grazing; the school of thought then was that Christ's birth would have more likely coincided with the beginning of the autumn feasts. Of course, the day and the hour is known only by our heavenly father, but you have definitely shed some refreshing light on a new direction of hope for believers!

I look forward to the last three coming to pass. Thank you for pointing that out. I find it very interesting that these two series of events correspond.
